These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern all professional services provided by SY Accountax (“we”, “us”, or “our”) to the client (“you”). By engaging our services, you agree to these Terms in full.
2. Client Identification (KYC)
In compliance with UK anti–money laundering (AML) and professional regulations, all clients are required to provide a valid government-issued photo ID (such as a passport or UK driving licence) before any work is undertaken.
We may also request proof of address or other supporting documents as part of our client due diligence process.
3. Payment Terms
- An initial payment of 50% of the agreed fee must be made before any work begins.
- The remaining 50% is due upon completion of the work, prior to the release of any final documents, submissions, or reports.
- No work will commence until both the initial payment and required identification documents have been received and verified.
- Accepted payment methods:
- Bank Transfer (details will be provided on the invoice)
- Direct Debit (where available and pre-approved by SY Accountax)
- All invoices are payable within 7 days of the issue date unless otherwise agreed in writing.
4. Cancellations and Refunds
Once work has commenced, fees paid are non-refundable, except where SY Accountax is unable to deliver the agreed service due to circumstances within our control.
If a client fails to provide required information, documentation, or communication, the initial payment will not be refunded.
5. Client Responsibilities
You agree to provide complete, accurate, and timely information and documentation necessary for us to carry out our services. SY Accountax shall not be responsible for delays, penalties, or errors arising from incomplete, inaccurate, or late information supplied by the client.

SY Accountax will perform all services with reasonable skill, care, and diligence in accordance with applicable professional standards.
However, we shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or expense resulting from reliance on information supplied by the client or any third party.
7. Confidentiality
All client information will be handled with strict confidentiality and in accordance with the UK Data Protection Act 2018 and UK GDPR.
We will not disclose your information to any third party without your consent, except where required by law or regulation.
